Sandra L. Peppers

Mrs. Sandra Boyer Peppers, age 72 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away September 26, 2014. She was born in Huntington, WV to the late Edgar Scott and Opal Florence Atkinson Boyer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Peppers, Sr. and by brothers, Eddie and David Boyer. Sandy retired after 32 years with Bellsouth and then worked several years as a Bailiff for Clayton and Henry Counties. She enjoyed her time with her grandchildren, watching the hummingbirds and spoiling her dog, Rusty. She was especially proud of keeping her yard looking beautiful. Survivors include her sons, Robert and Rosa Peppers of Locust Grove, Mark and Susan Peppers of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Stephanie, Scott, Anthony and Derick; great granddaughter, Lauren; sisters, Patricia and Gerald Stillwell of Barboursville, WV, Sheila and Roger Shannon of Barboursville, WV, Sue and Archie McCoy of Orange Park, FL. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, 7780 Ono Road, Palmetto, GA 30268. Friends may visit the family Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
