Stephen Dwayne Cox

Mr. Stephen Dwayne Cox, age 47 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away May 7, 2017. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Lewis Eugene and Daisy Beatrice Johnson Cox. He was preceded in death by his father in law, Reece Breedlove and brother in law, Eddie Lore. Dwayne was employed as a truck driver for Sealy Mattress and was a member of Relevant Church. Dwayne enjoyed spending time with his family, his dogs, fishing, boating and driving his Camaro. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Terina Cox; son, Kevin (Holly) Cox of Locust Grove; siblings, Ronnie Cox of Griffin, Elaine Lore of Senoia, Diane (Lee) Schnur of Wisconsin and Michael (Beverly) Cox of Senoia; mother in law, Elsie Breedlove of Griffin; sisters in law, Theresa (Ken) Breedlove of Locust Grove, Tracy (Mike) Collier of Locust Grove, Tonya (Toby Spires) Morton of McDonough and Tammy (Kenny) Sexton of Locust Grove; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 12, 2017 – 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Pastor Carl Nichols and Pastor Ricky Mosel will officiate. Interment will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery with Pastor Rob Tinney. Friends may visit the family Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
