Sue Wheeler

Sue Wheeler, 88 of Jackson passed away on June 10, 2022 in Jackson, Georgia. She was born in Raburn, Georgia on January 23, 1934 to the late Nelton and Carrie Belle Howard. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Edward Franklin Wheeler and her son Ernest Edward Wheeler. Sue is survived by her children, JoAnn W. (Ronald) Lewis of Jackson, Larry N. (Susan) Wheeler of Flovilla and Ronald (Carla) Wheeler of Griffin; eight grandchildren, Lori Deanna Williams, Joanie Marie (Adam) James, Ernest Edward (Trisha) Wheeler, Jr., Chasity Dana Walker, Ronnie (Shannon) Wheeler, Amanda (Chad) Hunter, Ricky Lamar Wheeler and Jennifer Leigh (Mitch) Sutton; eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson, Jack Morgan Williams; siblings, James Howard of Snellville, Bobby Howard of Loganville, Barbara Brimer of Lovejoy, Ann Painter of Riverdale and Dolan Hopper of Raleigh, NC. The family will receive friends from 3:00pm - 5:00pm on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough. Funeral services will be held in our chapel at 11:00am on Monday with burial to follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro.
