Tammy Jean Evans

Mrs. Tammy Jean Chambers Evans, age 60 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away March 4, 2019. She was born in Maryville, Tennessee to Audrey Juanita Irwin Chambers and the late Donald Frank Chambers. She was preceded in death by a brother, Greg Chambers. Tammy graduated from Morrow High School, Class of 1976. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Stockbridge. She enjoyed Shopping, spending time with her family and church family, and was an avid Tennessee Vols football fan. Survivors include her husband, Mark Evans; mother, Audrey Chambers of Morrow, brothers, Frank (Martha) Chambers of Tennessee and Doug (Tracy) Chambers of Tennessee; sister in law, Evelyn Chambers of Stockbridge; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019 – 3:00 PM at Unity Baptist Church. Pastor Earnest Dorries will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to Unity Baptist Church,75 Valley Hill Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281 in memory of Tammy.
