

Mr. Thomas E. Singley, age 82 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away May 28, 2016. He was born in Worthville, Georgia to the late Brainard Crowder and Cora Irene James Singley. Thomas faithfully served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a retired truck driver with 35 years of service, having worked for Mclean Trucking and ABF. He loved his farm, was a Master Gardner, and belonged to the Georgia Farm Bureau where he had served on the Board for years and as Treasurer. He also enjoyed playing baseball and hunting rabbits. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Pat Singley; children, Michael Singley of Locust Grove, Wanda (Clay) Meeks of Hampton and Brenda (Ken) Lauderback of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Kim Dial, Destiny Keck, Ashleigh Singley, Michael Singley, Wendy Turner, Daniel Meeks, Jonathan Meeks, Caitlyn McGill, Natalie Glass, Josh Jones, Riley, Kanan and Zack Lauderback; 16 great grandchildren; siblings, Larry (Nora) Singley of McDonough, Peggy (Frank) Clifton of Morrow and Janie Bennett of Jackson; numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm at the funeral home. A graveside service will take place Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 5:30 pm at Locust Grove Cemetery.
