Thomas Jackson "Jacky" Sprose, age 75, of Rex, Georgia passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022. Jack was born to the late Thomas Harold and Martha Elizabeth (Perkins) Sprose on February 12,1947 in Cairo, GA. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He enjoyed going quail & dove hunting, and fishing, working on cars and tinkering with smaller engines. He was a carpenter and could fix pretty much anything he put his hands on. He was a family man and he loved his family very much. He loved his children, his wife Lynda, and his grandchildren. He had the biggest heart and the kindest soul and he never met a stranger.
Jack is survived by his spouse of 55 years, Lynda Sprose; his daughter Stephanie Reynolds (Phil); and his daughter Melissa Boney (Philip); grandchildren Ryan Reynolds (Mandi), Brittany Boney Slezak (Tyler), Sam Wise, Leah Reynolds, Elyse Reynolds; great granddaughter, Adeline Slezak; sister, Virginia Smith; brother, Robert Reilly (Cindie); several nieces & nephews.
A visitation for Thomas will be held Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, Georgia 30253. A graveside service for family will occur Friday, October 7, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Eastlawn Memorial Park, 640 McGarity Rd, McDonough, Georgia 30253.
