Tony Charles Simpson

Mr. Tony Charles Simpson, age 64 of Jackson, Georgia passed away July 17, 2018. He was born in Lithonia, Georgia to the late Charlie and Fannie Simpson. He was preceded in death by siblings, Richard Simpson, Shirley Tatum, Nena Davenport, Woodrow Simpson and Audrey Spence. Tony was a kind hearted, hardworking and compassionate man. He was a good husband and daddy who enjoyed traveling, watching westerns and listening to John Denver. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Joyce Whidby Simpson of Jackson; son, Teddy Simpson of Denver, CO; sister, Faye Driver of Stockbridge; brothers, Larry (Rita) Simpson of Jackson and Marty (Pat) Simpson of Jonesboro; sisters in law, Eleanor Simpson of Atlanta, Cornelia Simpson of Griffin and Angie (James) Ray of Zebulon; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 – 6:00 PM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Marty Simpson will officiate.
