Valencia Maria Christian

Ms. Valencia Maria Christian, age 78 of St. Thomas, USVI, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020. She was born on St. Thomas, Virgin Islands to the late Leslie Christian, Sr. and Evelyn Greaux. Valencia is survived by her daughters: Patricia Thomas, Linda Callwood, MD, and the late Abigail Thomas Amaro; grandchildren: Diahl Brookes, Jyrell Amaro Francis, Jose Amaro, Jr., and Jerrick Amaro; siblings; Thyra Lang, Joyce Hansen, Ina Christian, Charlene Blackman-Brathwaite, Arlene Blackman, Marie Luz Christian Henry, June Christian Washington, Manel Christian, Sr., Diego Christian, Marcel Christian, and Juan Christian; in-laws: Elvin Brooks and Nicole Hodge; and many beloved friends and family. She was predeceased by her siblings: Roy Christian, Charles Christian, Leona Christian, June Hansen, Ellsworth Emanuel, and Leslie Christian, Jr. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 12:00PM with Pastor Dave Riley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
