Benito Diaz, age 29, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in McGregor. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at Cole Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Sunday, July 10, at McGregor Cemetery.
Benito was born May 2, 1987 to Benito Diaz, Sr., and Silvina (Garcia) Diaz in Mexico. He was a longtime resident of McGregor and worked as a construction worker.
Survivors include his parents, Benito, Sr. and Silvina Diaz of McGregor; brother, Sofronio Diaz and wife, Pamela of McGregor; niece, Lematie Diaz; nephews, Armondo Clark, Louis Medina, and Isaiah Diaz.
