Cleo Bass Fulcher

Cleo Fulcher of McGregor died Wednesday December 11, 2013, at the age of 83. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at Cole Funeral Home, 1113 West Fifth St. McGregor with funeral services at 2:00 P.M. Sunday December 15, 2013, with Rev. Terry Johnston officiating. Interment will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday in McGregor Cemetery.

Mrs. Fulcher was born July 17, 1930, in McGregor, Texas, the daughter of the late William Jefferson and Ruby E. (Riley) Bass where she graduated from high school in 1948. In 1950, she married C.H. Janes, Jr. in McGregor who preceded her in death in 1955. On July 10, 1957, she married Jess Reuben Fulcher in Belton. He preceded her in death April 17, 2007.

Mrs. Fulcher was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and working in her yard.

Also preceding her in death were two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include a son, Larry Janes and wife Linda of McGregor; a step son, Sam Fulcher and wife Lou of Washington; a brother, Connally Bass and wife Frieda of Bruceville Eddy; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, an uncle and aunt, Cohen and Mary Sue Bass of McGregor and numerous nieces and nephews.
