
Frankie Lynch of Moody died Monday afternoon, April 4, 2011, at the age of 100. Graveside services and interment will be10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Moody Cemetery under the direction of Cole Chapel, 304 Eighth Street, Moody with James Haney officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at Cole Chapel.
Mr. Lynch was born June 14, 1910, in Moody, Texas, the son of the late Francis Edgar and Ada (Willis) Lynch and attended school at Liberty Hill.
On September 29, 1940, he married the former Sussie Mildred Cantrell in Valley Mills, Texas. After fifty-two years of marriage, she preceded him in death March 21, 1993. For sixty-five years, he was in the tractor mechanic business, owing Lynch and Coulter in Moody. After devoting sixty-five years to the profession, he retired in 2003.
Also preceding him in death was two brothers, Charlie Lynch and Harold Lynch and a sister, Hazel Coulter.
Survivors include two brothers, Earl M. Lynch of Eddy and Hugh Lynch and wife Evelyn of Moody.
