Garrett Stone, 22, of Waco, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, October 2, 2015 at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor with Steve Abbe officiating. Interment will follow in McGregor Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 1st at the funeral home.
Mr. Stone was born on July 30, 1993 in Waco to Joe and Pamela Stone. He graduated from Midway High School in 2011. He loved computers, playing basketball, walks, hanging out with his friends and going out to eat. Garrett loved animals and his cats. He was a Baptist. His grandfather; David McGuffey and his grandparents; Henry and Judy Stone preceded him in death.
Survivors include his parents; Joe and Pamela Stone of Waco, sister; McKenzie Stone of Waco, grandparents; D’Etta and Jerral Knox of Hewitt, aunt; Colleen Pike and her husband, Zeke and their children; Mason, Trace and Madi, and uncles, James Stone and his wife, Lynn of Round Rock and their daughter; Rhianna and Brian McGuffey of Hewitt and his son; Jonah.
