

Louise Freyer of Clifton went peacefully to be with her husband Ervin Thursday, afternoon, November 15, 2012, at the age of 97. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Cole Funeral Home Chapel, 1113 West Fifth Street, McGregor with Reverend Ron Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Canaan Baptist Cemetery.
Mrs. Freyer was born April 13, 1915, in Crawford, Texas, the daughter of the late Otto and Minnie (Priesmeyer) Westerfeld. In 1933, she was valedictorian of her Osage School graduating class. On November 7, 1939, she married Ervin Freyer at Canaan Baptist Church. After forty-two years of marriage, he preceded her in death September 1, 1982. While living in Crawford, she was a member of Canaan Baptist Church where she played the Piano. In 1980, she moved to Clifton and continued to play the Piano at First Baptist Church of Laguna Park. Because of her love for music she either played or taught Piano for seventy-five years.
Also preceding her in death were three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include three sons, Doug Freyer and wife Joyce, Larry Freyer and wife Linda, Roy Freyer and wife Karen; a brother, Cloudius Westerfeld and wife Peggy; ten grandchildren, Charlie, Greg, Keith, Kari Ann, Ray, Mike, Stacy, Terri, Scott and Gina, twenty-one great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren with one on the way, many nieces and nephews.
