

Marion Potter of Moody died Friday evening, May 20, 2011, at the age of 79. Graveside services and interment will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Burlington Public Cemetery in Burlington, Texas under the direction of Cole Funeral Home, 1113 West Fifth Street, McGregor.
There will not be any visitation at the funeral home.
Mrs. Potter was born April 15, 1932, in Texas, the daughter of the late John Reginald (Rex) and Valeah Melinda (Franklin) Wyatt. For twenty-five years, she lived in the Temple and Rogers area before moving to Moody in 2011.In the 1940’s she married Derrell Gray Norman in Temple. Later in 1992, she married Donald Potter in Belton. After about nine years of marriage, he preceded her in death in 2001. She was an artist who painted with oils and water colors and created figures out of concrete.
Also preceding her in death was a brother, Doug Wyatt.
Survivors include two sons; Larry Gray Norman and wife Patty of Temple, Gerald W. Norman and wife Jean of Moody; a sister, Sharon Peggy Roberts of West Virginia; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
For those desiring, the family has suggested the American Cancer Society for memorial contributions.
