

Lee was born March 10, 1952, in Gadsden, Alabama, the son of Marvin Lee and Doris M. (Peek) Cox. At an early age he moved to Central Texas and attended school in McGregor. From February 5, 1971, until his honorable discharge February 2, 1973, as a Private, he served his country in the United States Marines. Throughout his life, he enjoyed many outdoor activities to include camping, fishing, rebuilding and restoring various items. He also enjoyed guns and listening to classic rock music. His more recent employment was with Texas Golf Karts where he was a mechanic for the past eight years.
Preceding him in death was his father.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Doris Cox of Waco; his significant other, Peggy Hoge of China Spring; two daughters, Patricia Cox-Cross and husband Chris, Deanna Cox-Bice and husband Matt all of Austin; a step-daughter Carey Reynolds of Fort Worth; a sister, Pat Flores and husband Steve of McGregor; four grandsons, Kaden Bice, Seth Bice,
Cameron Weisinger and Caleb Weisinger.
