

Megan Blair Dominguez of McGregor died Saturday afternoon, July 23, 2011, in Fort Worth at the age of 24. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 28, 2011, at Zion Lutheran Church 502 South Tyler Street, McGregor. Interment will follow in McGregor Cemetery under the direction of Cole Funeral Home, 1113 West Fifth Street, McGregor wth Father Jose Axona officiating. Rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at Cole Funeral Home Chapel.
Megan was born October 30, 1986, in Waco, Texas and lived in McGregor prior to moving to Germany. In 1992 she returned to McGregor where she graduated from McGregor High School in 2005. She played Clarinet in the Junior High School Band and was a member of the Pep Squad. In High School, she was a member of PALS. She graduated from TSTC as a dental assistant and was employed with McGregor Community Clinic as a dental assistant since 2007. On October 17, 2009, she married Alex Dominguez in Waco. In her earlier years she was reared in College Avenue Baptist Church. More recently, she was a member of St. Eugene Catholic Church. Throughout her life she enjoyed various forms of art including drawing and poetry.
Survivors include her husband Alex of McGregor; her parents, Thomas and Kristi Blair of McGregor; a son, Jayden Lee Dominguez of McGregor; a brother, Samuel Paul Blair of McGregor; three sisters, Ericka Renee’ Blair of McGregor, Patricia Lynn Cook of Oglesby, Brandi Nicole Blair of McGregor; maternal grandparents, Richard and Patricia Smith of McGregor and Roy Freeman of DeLeon; great grandmother, Mary Inez Abbey of Deleon; parternal grandfather, Truett Johnson; two nieces and one nephew.
