

The family will receive visitors at Cole Funeral Home on Monday, February 24 from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 25 at 10am at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor, with the Rev. Dr. Katie Long officiating. He will be laid to rest in Post Oak Cemetery.
Nathan was born April 4, 1916 in the Oglesby area to parents John Roy and Una (Duncan) Fegette. He the oldest of five children. Nathan graduated from Oglesby High School in 1934 and later attended Four-C Business College in Waco. Nathan proudly served his country in the US Army reaching the rank of 1st Sgt at the time of his discharge from military service. He married Loyce M. Fowler, whom he had known nearly his entire life, on July 8, 1938 and together they raised 3 children. Nathan worked for Southwestern Petroleum Company(formerly Cactus Oil) based out of Ft. Worth for many years, in fact, even at the age of 97, he still had customers. He also enjoyed ranching. Nathan was an active member of the United Methodist Church in Oglesby up until the time of his passing.
He will be deeply missed by his family and many dear friends.
Nathan was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Loyce; his son, David Nathan Fegette; granddaughter, Cathy Michelle Fegette and his 4 siblings.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Tim Fegette and wife Ginny of Oglesby and daughter Kay Ridling of McGregor; grandchildren, Robbie Ridling and wife Renee and Russell Ridling and wife Michelle; and 4 great-grandchildren, Sarah Ridling, Amy Ridling, Garrett Ridling and Rylen Ridling.
