

Pete Bourassa of McGregor died Friday night, December 17, 2010, at the age of 60. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at Cole Funeral Home Chapel, 1113 West Fifth Street, McGregor with Reverend Barry Camp officiating. Interment will follow in McGregor Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at Cole Funeral Home.
Pete was born January 1, 1950, in McGregor, Texas, the first birth in McLennan County of that year. He was the son of Lawrence William and Edith Estelle (Randall) Bourassa. He attended McGregor High School where he was participated in F.F.A. and excelled in track and field. Throughout his life, he enjoyed working on automobiles, playing pool which he was awarded many trophies, and fishing.
Preceding him in death was his father.
Survivors include his mother, Edith Bourassa Williams Meine; two sons, Charles Bourassa, Steven Bourassa; a daughter, Kristi Fields-Conrad; two brothers, Homer Williams, John Williams; two sisters, Judy Taft, Ann Norman and three grandchildren, Ashley Fields, Adrian Bourassa and Anthony Bourassa.
Casketbearers will be Jay Anderson, Charles Bourassa, Steven Bourassa, Jimmy Dale Gammell, Danny Rich and Bobby White.
