Rosemary Pollard Westerfield

Rosemary Westerfield of Crawford died Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at the age of 90. Funeral services were 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 15, 2010, at Cole Funeral Home Chapel, 1113 West Fifth Street, McGregor with Rev. Dr. Dub Oliver officiating. Interment followed in Canaan Baptist Cemetery. A visitation was held from 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday at Cole Funeral Home.

Mrs. Westerfield was born May 10, 1920, in McGregor, Texas, the daughter of the late Charlie and Nancy Ann (Stephens) Pollard and attended school in Oglesby. On November 13, 1937, she married Carl Westerfield in Gatesville. After sixty-nine years of marriage, he preceded her in death December 9, 2006. The next year following their marriage, she moved to Crawford from McGregor. She was an active member of Canaan Baptist Church where she served the church as custodian and was a member of the visitation and social committees.

Also preceding her in death was a granddaughter, Ginger Martin; a son Billie Westerfield and her brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a daughter-in-law. LaJuana Westerfield of Crawford; one grandson Lane Westerfield and wife Greta; five great grandchildren, Shanda Harrison and husband Aaron, Bethani Stanford and husband Justin, Jacob Westerfield, Sara Westerfield, Luke Westerfield; and a great great grandson, Kooper Harrison.

Casketbearers were Bob Clark, Aaron Harrison, Mark Neuman, Gene Reinhardt, Justin Stanford and Jacob Westerfield.
