Sue Ellen Dotson

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 29, at Cole Funeral Home Chapel in McGregor, Texas.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 27, from 6 to 8:00p.m., at Cole Funeral Home.

Sue was born May 13, 1932 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Wayne R. and Ellen (Gaskill) Sartor. She graduated from Holdenville High School in Oklahoma. Sue received her Bachelors in Interior Design from Oklahoma State University in 1954 and that same day married the love of her life Guy Winters Dotson. Sue was a sweet, selfless and caring mother; everyone who met her loved her. Family was the most important thing to her, she loved them dearly. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, friend and aunt. Positivity was her strong suit; she always saw the light in any situation. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry Sartor; daughter, Pamela Sue Dotson and nephew, Gary Sartor.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, Guy Dotson of Valley Mills, TX; children, Thomas A. Dotson, of Seabrook, TX, Patricia L. Bloise and husband Joe, of Baton Rouge, LA and Timothy G. Dotson and wife Donalee, of the Woodlands, TX; grandchildren, Todd Dotson and wife Maroles, Alexandria Bloise, Christopher Bloise , Victoria Bloise, Austin Dotson, and Ashley Dotson. She is also survived by sister, Mary Jo Falls and husband Justin and brother, Jerry Sartor and wife Carolyn, all of Valley Mills, TX.
