Thomas "Jr." Smith

Jr. was born in Dublin, Texas to Thomas Jefferson Smith, and Katherine Iona (Lawson) Smith on March 21, 1946. He attended McGregor schools.

Jr. was a member of Central Texas Horse Show Association for 10 years, and was the best Post Hauler in all of Texas. He was the Assistant Pastor of Mother Neff Faith Tabernacle for 20 years. He was passionate about riding and breaking horses, and cherished teaching all of his grandchildren to rope. Jr. loved to travel, and took the most pleasure in escaping to the mountains.

Jr. was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; Randy Wayne, Guy Lewis, Roger Dale, and one sister; Johnnie Iona.

He is survived by sons; Hank and wife, Stephanie of Crawford, Bo, of McGregor, Barry and wife, Penny of Moody, daughter; Katherine Ann Smith, of Mart, grandchildren; Austin, Dakota, Skye, Taylor, Bailey, Adleigh, Pony, and D'Angelo, great-granddaughter; Faith, brothers; Jimmy Wayne, Dickie J., Bubba, sister; Wanda, step-mother; Wanda Jean and husband, Jim Thomas. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Buddy.
