

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter O. Johnson; as well as her siblings.
Annie is survived by her niece, Karen Pittman; sister-in-law, Margaret A. Talley; and 4 nephews, Wayne Talley, Elvin Talley, Randy Talley, and Jeff Talley.
Annie was a member of the Enon Methodist Church in Studley, Virginia, as a devoted member of the church, she found her passion in singing in the choir. After over 40 years of dedicated service, Annie retired from the Federal Reserve Bank in Richmond, where she made a lasting impact on her colleagues and community.
Annie was known for her zest for life, always embracing every opportunity to enjoy time with her family and friends. She was the life of the party, whether dancing, laughing, or simply brightening the room with her vibrant personality. Known affectionately as “The Queen,” she loved to wear the finest clothes and jewelry, reflecting her elegance and grace. Her infectious laugh will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.
The family will receive friends from 4pm to 8pm on Monday, September 30, 2024 at Woody Funeral Home, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, VA 23116. A funeral service will begin at 12pm on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Woody funeral home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Ln., Richmond, VA 23222.
