Annie H. Whitfield, 83, of Mechanicsville passed from this life to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 6, 2015. She was preceded in death by many of her loved ones, including her parents, several siblings, and her first born son, Jimmy. Annie is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Bob, her daughters, Cheryl Oglesby (Ray), Darlene Olive (Ed), Barbara Connella (Keith), and her son Robert Whitfield (Wendy). She leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, and two siblings. Funeral services were held on Friday, October 9, 2015 at Woody’s Atlee Chapel with interment in the Fort Harrison National Cemetery in Varina.
