I still can't believe that Aunt Arlene is really gone to heaven. I have kept her newspaper write-up and condolence card together, taped onto the wall to see often.  Some people are larger than life, and she lived her life to the fullest, with lots of stories about her past adventures and escapades. With love and a twinkle in her eyes, she could tell you a funny story or laugh with you. God added another angel with His Friends, always smiling, always happy! Long remembered, longingly missed.

Hey, Mom, it's hard to believe it has been a year. I have felt your blessings many times this past 12 months. Just know that we will never forget you and always love you.

Grandma I will miss you greatly. Thank you for welcoming into this family with open arms. Your are definately the kind of person that I want to be. Love you and miss you. Say hi to pap pap and aunt pat for me.

Arlene, I thought of you with love today. If anyone desires a wish to come true it would be to emulate your shining character.  Your laughter was infectious and there was perfect joy and beauty in your everlasting light. You are so wonderful to think about but it will be hard to live without your smile and laughter here on earth. So when I look up in the sky tonight, I will see another bright star. Heaven is so lucky to have one more angel to watch over all of us.  Love Mindy and Dean

Grandma was the dearest, sweetest, most loving person I ever met.  From day one we had a connection, and that connection was never broken.  All she had to do was hold your hand, and you knew everything was going to be ok. Right now, I can't imagine my life without her, but I know that she is in peace now, and that is what matters the most.  It makes me happy to know that Grandma, Pap Pap and Mom are all together.  Thank you for being the best Grandma a girl could ask for!!

I'm sorry to hear of your mother's passing.  I did not get to spend much time in her company, but Faye always spoke lovingly of her in the many memories that she recalled.

It was heartwarming to look through the photo memories! So much love! You are in my thoughts and prayers.  Specifically, I am praying that God will strengthen you through the tough days ahead.

Grandma was simply beautiful; kindness radiated from her smile. She won my heart the first time we met. She was so charming. Arlene was one of those people who made you want to be a better person, she raised the bar. When I lived with the Crowls and I would go into her room in the mornings to say good morning she was always brightly smiling; welcoming of the new day, grateful for her life. She would fuss over us, making sure we were happy and always asking if she could do more to be helpful. 
    I liked to call her the sweet tooth grandma, many evenings we spend watching The Lawrence Welk show enjoying the music and bowls of ice cream. She even sang a few times; followed by her easy laughter. 
She had an easy manner, silly too. I will miss her here but i know with out a doubt she is singing hymns to the Lord... maybe she is even doing the "Charleston " with a childlike twinkle in her eye.

Please accept Woody staff condolences for your loss.  You can depend on us to assist you on this journey and we will strive for your complete satisfaction while your loved one is in our care. We believe you deserve nothing less. For these difficult days, we will be honored to have you consider our home and family a part of yours.

My sympathy to you David and your family in the passing of your mom - Aunt Arlene to me. She was a wonderful gentle soul. She and uncle Dave were so gracious when sharing their home during our visits many times. May the memory of your blessed happy times together sustain you.

Grandma. I thank God for the many years you were in my life. Such a kind and gentle woman, I learned from you how important family is and what real love is. Your infectious laugh and smile will be in my heart forever. Thank you for being my grandma. I will love you forever. Give a big hug for me to mom and papap.

Miss Arlene I didn't have a chance to get to know you, but from what I have heard about you from Terry, you are one very special lady who loved people and life, was loved and will be missed by many. Rest in the arms of the Lord until we meet in heaven.

Though I only met knew her briefly I found her to be engaging and welcoming--- with a warm heart and a lively spirit.  My condolences to Dave, Terry and your entire family.

Aunt Arlene was an amazing christian woman.  I have had many fond childhood memories visting her and Uncle David and going to King's Dominion.  The evening of her passing was sad and joyous time; sad that we lose such fun loving person; joyous because she is at peace and with our Lord!  My thoughts and prayers are with the family now. Grandma, you will be missed by everyone who knew you. You were beloved because of your gentle, loving spirit.
