

Born and raised in Washington, North Carolina, Betty enjoyed a fulfilling career in the aviation industry before retiring to dedicate her time to the people and activities she loved most. In her retirement years, she found great joy in babysitting her grandchildren, watching NASCAR, watching football games, and enjoying game shows.
Betty was deeply cherished by her friends and neighbors, with whom she shared countless moments of laughter and companionship. She was happiest during large family celebrations and vacations, where her vibrant spirit brought joy to everyone around her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Don Bijolle; father, Walter Clark; and mother, Ella Viola Foster.
Betty is survived by her loving children, Jackie Belfield (Paul) and Sandra Rosenzweig (Mark); grandchildren, Chad Dobbins (Janell), Donald Richards Jr. (Amanda), Matt Dobbins (Janelle), Kimberly Doss (Ryan), Cindy Dobbins (Mike), and Ryan Rosenzweig; 11 great-grandchildren, and brothers, John Spencer (Marti) and Buddy Clark (Nancy).
A graveside service to honor and celebrate Betty’s life will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Rd., Hanover, VA 23069.
