HARRIS, David E., 76, of Mechanicsville, devoted father and grandfather was placed in Gods hands on June 9, 2012. He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Carroll, Tina Franklin, and Nina Thompson (Dale); his son, James Harris; grandchildren, Corey, Sam, Laura, Casey, Matt, Mikalya, Joe, and Dale Jr.; his brother, Russell E. Harris; nieces, nephews and many devoted friends. He was a Master Electrician and retired from the Hanover Juvenile Correctional Center. He loved to hunt, fish and spoil his grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., on Monday, June 11, at the Atlee Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, Route 301 and Shady Grove Rd.
