

Born on August 13, 1944, he was the son of the late Alfred W. and Katherine Elizabeth Blake.
Kenny was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a devout Christian and attended Sunday services at Sandston Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sandra T. Blake; his children, Susan Gray, Melissa Wyatt, and Terry Blake (Laura); and his cherished grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Chance, Chase, and Kacy. He is also survived by his two sisters, Sylvia Tyler (Lynn) and Katherine desEnfants (Tom), along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Kenny had a lifelong love of the outdoors. He was a talented golfer, loved bass fishing, and played softball for many years. His passion for the game earned him induction into the ASA Softball Hall of Fame in 1989 – an accomplishment he was very proud of. In his daily routine, Kenny especially enjoyed meeting his friends each morning at Bojangles for breakfast, where laughter and friendship were always on the menu.
He will be remembered for his steady presence, his dedication to family, and the many friendships he cherished throughout his life. His love and guidance will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 26, 2026, 4:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at Woody Funeral Home-Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, VA 23116. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, 1:00p.m. at Woody Funeral Home-Atlee Chapel. Interment will follow at Signal Hill Memorial Park in Hanover, VA.
