Marjorie James Hodges

Marjorie James Hodges, 83, of Mechanicsville, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Heritage Green Memory Care facility in Mechanicsville, Virginia. She was born on September 25, 1934 to the late Doree and Clifford James. Marjorie is survived by her husband of 50 years, Mr. Lewis "Butch" Hodges; two sons, David and John Smith; one daughter, Tami Wyatt; five grandchildren, Angela, Rachael, Brian, Cole and Brandon; one sister, Virginia Wilson; two nieces; and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Sharon Virginia Smith. There will be a graveside funeral at Signal Hill Memorial Park for the immediate family on Thursday, April 26. There will be a celebration of life at North Run Baptist Church for friends and family to come together to honor her memory at a later date.
