Born in Henrico, Virginia, Lane grew up in Midlothian before moving to Mechanicsville when he was 11 years old. Lane was a 2022 graduate of Atlee High School, where he was a proud member of the Atlee Raiders football team. Lane went on to work for Carter Machinery as a welder. Lane had a vibrant and loving personality; he never met a stranger. Everyone who encountered him was better for it.
Lane loved being outdoors and following sports, including college football, hockey and baseball. Outside of work, playing guitar, listening to music, driving his truck, cooking, and taking care of his two cats and two dogs filled many happy hours. Most of all though, he loved God and loved and cared for his family and many friends deeply.
Lane is survived by his mother, Sheryl, father, Michael, and stepmother Katherine, sisters Lindsey and Collins, and stepbrother Landon, grandparents Eunice Beck and Michael, and Gayle Gill, as well as many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Lane was preceded in death by his grandfather, Benjamin Jordan.
