Virginia Mae Pace Adams

ADAMS, Virginia Mae Pace , 86, of Mechanicsville, VA., daughter of Wanda Catterton Pace and Clarence Pace, passed away on Friday May 4, 2012. Virginia was born February 22, 1926 in Lawrenceville Illinois . She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years WWII and Korea Army Veteran Sylvester W. Adams and sister Alice Fox. Mrs. Adams is survived by one sister Barbara Wargo and husband John Wargo, one daughter, Wanda Carol Balderson and one son William E. Adams and wife Fonda Cline Adams. She, Virginia is also survived by 7 grandsons, Chris, Chuck, and Craig Balderson, Will, Phillip, Brandon and Josh Adams; and great-grandchildren Amber, Justine and Layne Balderson, Jacob, Lucas and Alexander Adams.

Virginia was a lifetime member of Broadus Memorial Church. Always known for her giving attitude she will be missed by her family as well as the many friends whose lives she has touched throughout her 86 years.

The family will receive friends Monday May 7 from 5-8 PM at the Atlee Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 9271 Shady Grove Road in Mechanicsville. A funeral service will be held Tuesday morning at 09:30 a.m. at Broadus Memorial Baptist Church, 5351 Pole Green Rd, Mechanicsville Va 23116 followed by interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
