Alice Marie "Allie" Warner Deupree of Eagle Point, Oregon, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, in Medford, Oregon, at the age of 96. Born on March 11, 1930, in Trail, Oregon. She spent her childhood living and playing in rural Trail, Oregon near the Rogue River. She was the child of John Gordon Warner and Violet Antonette Hoskins Warner. She lost both parents during childhood and became a ward of the court until her oldest sister married and gave her a family home. She graduated from Days Creek High School and later worked in Canyonville, Oregon. It was there that she met and married Philip Webb Deupree. Allie and Phil resided in Days Creek before moving to Fortuna, California. Eventually, they returned to her roots in the Rogue Valley, settling on farmland in Eagle Point where they raised their three children: Rhonda Lee Stebbins of Eagle Point; Philis Ann Schmidt (Peter) of Scotts Mills, Oregon; and Stanley Webb Deupree of Eagle Point. Allie cherished her role as a mother and grandmother to six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. A woman deeply connected to the land, she found joy in collecting beautiful rocks along the creeks that flowed through her farmland. She created wonderful flower gardens during her years in Fortuna. She had an extraordinary bond with animals—wild and domestic alike—and was known for taking in abandoned creatures. From crows and raccoons to owls and quail, Allie made pets of countless animals over the years. Her home was a sanctuary for dogs, cats, chickens, cattle, colorful birds, fish of all sizes, and more. Allie’s love for the Rogue Valley ran deep. She delighted in its wildflowers and natural beauty. Her final years were spent in her cherished ranch home thanks to the devoted care of her eldest daughter Rhonda. Together they explored the region almost daily. Simple outings that brought her immense joy. Whether stopping for a burger with fries and a 7-Up or simply taking in the scenery she adored so much, She looked forward to the next explore. Preceded in death by her husband Phil Deupree; parents John Gordon Warner and Violet Antoinette Hoskin Warner; siblings John G. Warner Jr., Leona May Sutton, Norma Jean Olufsen, James G. Warner, Kenneth Warner, and Joseph Warner; Allie leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever be treasured by those who knew her. Alice Marie "Allie" Deupree will be remembered for her unwavering love—for family, animals and nature. May her memory bring smiles to those who loved her. A Graveside Service will be held on May 30, 2026, at 01:00 PM at Trail Pioneer Cemetery Old Trail Creek Road, Trail, Oregon.
