Anton is survived by 3 children, Brandy Mohar, Whitney (Troy) Byrd, and Tony (Tiffany) Mohar, 7 grandchildren, Brooklynn, Zirianna, Renee, Quentin, Joey, Zachary, and Colton, and brother, Lee Mohar.
Anton was born on September 20, 1955 in Yreka, California to Anthony and Mary Jane Mohar. He graduated from Yreka High School in 1973 and then attended College of the Siskiyous for a while before moving to Reno, Nevada where he met Cindy Ruth. They married on April 20, 1985 and later moved back to Yreka, California.
Anton started out his career logging Northern California but then later found his talent being a chef in Nevada. Despite his love for cooking, he decided to pursue a career in real estate in Southern Oregon. After many years helping others find their homes, Anton decided to transition into the field of technology at US Cellular. When the US Cellular’s call center closed in Medford, he obtained a sales position at Verizon Wireless. He enjoyed taking care of people’s needs whether with finding their dream home or helping them navigate the world of technology.
A celebration of life is scheduled for November 9, 2019 at Crater Rock Museum from 5-7PM, with a potluck reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Anton's life.
