

Benton W. Ford, 50, of Talent Oregon, passed away July 7, 2016 at his home from natural causes. Ben, the son of Allen Ford and Grace (Kuykendall) Ford also of Talent was born May 2nd 1966 at the Ashland Community Hospital. Benton attended Bellview elementary, Ashland Jr. High and Ashland High School. Ben was a gifted wood artist and worked professionally as a specialty display and curio cabinet maker. Some of his custom-built display cases hold artifacts at the Smithsonian Institute. Ben loved the outdoors and spent many hours fishing and rafting the local waterways. Benton was a loving, gentle, and kind man who cared greatly for the needs of others. In addition to his parents, Benton is survived by his sisters, Sandy Tracy of East Glacier, MT and Amanda Ford of Talent, OR, his nephews, James, Jacob, Keith, Kurtis, and Zachary Thomas of Eugene, OR, Andrew Tracy of Eugene, OR and Dawson Ford of Talent, niece Kalyn Tracy of Medford, great-nephew Alejandro and great-nieces, Layla, Luna, and Gracie, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Benton was preceded in death by grandparents Alva and Annamae Ford, Ernest and Eula Kuykendall, wife Veronica Aguilera-Ford and older sister Aileen Ford Thomas.
