

Colleen and her husband Bill were married in 1953 and lived in the Rogue Valley for nearly 60 years. They owned and operated Crater Log Salvage Inc. with their partner Art Wilson. They later owned Alton Pump Service until Bill's retirement.
Colleen and her husband wanted a large family. She is survived by her five children, Donald Cox, Sheryl Wirts, Teresa Stevens, Douglas Cox, and Rebecca Schulz; 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Colleen loved dogs and kids. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed canning, sewing, embroidering, crocheting and other crafts.
She volunteered at Schwab House assisting with physical therapy for children with cerebral palsy. She worked at a local food bank, and donated to Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Service for family and friends at EP National Cemetery Committal Shelter on March 22nd at 10:00a.m. Private family-only Internment following. A Celebration of Life will also follow at a later date.
The family requests that donations to Celia’s House Hospice or Saint Jude’s Children Hospital be made in her memory in lieu of flowers.
