David Vance Forster son of Judie Salter and father Vance p. Forster was born on March 6th 1969 in Campbell California. He spent his first six weeks of life in an incubator but grew into a 6 foot 2 180 pound roofer who loved his work. David loved spending time with his son most but also enjoyed the outdoors and music, playing the bass guitar for more than 30 years. A dog and reptile lover he is preceded in heaven by Spike number one the Iguana, crawdad, pooper, Sam, Bobo, Coco, Gizzy, Wizard and Fred number to the bird. Success being measured by kindness delivered and hearts that he touched, David is one of the most successful men that any of us will ever know. Having never met a stranger, he had a kind word, a smile and an open refrigerator for all who came calling. David is a proud father and uncle who strived to lead by example and adhered to strict moral standards, ingrained by his grandparents, Otto and Alyene Cornell who pre-deceased him. Too soon he was called home to heaven on September 23rd 2014 and is survived by his son Vance Patrick Forster, his mother Judie Salter, his aunt Wanda and Nene, his sisters Cheri and Michelle Forster, two adoring nieces Kissiah and Alivia along with many cousins and extended family. With honorable mention to the infinite number of friends and hearts that he touched. All are welcome to join his family at Hope Christian Church, 325 Oak Street, in Central Point on Saturday, October 4th at 11 a.m.. David's favorite desserts will be served directly following his celebration of life.
