

Janet “Jan” Hodges, 76, of White City, Oregon passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on February 7, 2018. She was born on August 29, 1941 in Hamlin County, South Dakota to Henry and Frances Kingslien.
Janet married Clifford on November 23, 1960 and they were married for 54 years. She and Cliff enjoyed going for scenic drives and trips to casinos and the coast. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and spending time with her family. She enjoyed fishing, and being surrounded by nature and animals. Her favorite saying was “It’s a beautiful day!”
She is survived by; son Gary Hodges (Lorie) grandson’s Logan Hodges, of Newman Grove, NE, Blake Carter (Ariel) of Crofton, NE, and Anthony Carter of Medford, OR; son Larry Hodges (Tawny) of Medford, OR.; daughter Diane Hurd (Jeff) granddaughter Stephanie Serna (Andres) great granddaughters Lilana and Mia, of Eagle Point, OR.
She was also survived by her siblings, Shirley, Bill, Ken (Kathy), Keith (Carol), James (Betty), David (Tammy), Carol (Wayne), Paul (Laura) and Donna (Ray).
Jan was preceded in death by her husband Clifford, her parents and her brother Robert.
She will be laid to rest, at a later date, with her husband Clifford in Nebraska.
