

Jeannie Parker went home to the Lord on July 21, 2023 after 88 years of dedication to family, friends, and faith. Born Jeannie Ragsdale on August 30th, 1934 in Kansas, she moved with her family to Medford, Oregon at the age of 3. Graduating from Medford High School, she became a licensed beautician and after playing “hard to get”, married Leo Parker in1956. They shared their life together for 33 years before his passing in 1989. Jeannie worked as a fruit grader at Reeder’s Fruit Packing before starting work in the Bakery at Harry & David. She left Harry & David in 1989 to enjoy more time camping, fishing, and taking road trips with friends and family. She loved playing games and was always ready for a game of Aggravation, 10,000 or Ship, Captain & Crew .
Jeannie became a Christian in 1967, and started attending the Medford Assembly of God before joining the Applegate Christian Fellowship. In recent years, Jeannie attended Table Rock Fellowship enjoying new friends.
Jeannie is survived by her daughter, La Mora Dumbrow and son Danial Parker, son-in-law Marvin Dumbrow, daughter-in-law Kelly Parker, granddaughters LaMora Gushtyuk and husband Andrey; Elizabeth Bishop and husband Luke, Casey Vann, Brett Dumbrow, great-grandchildren Nora & Leo Bishop, Jason Dumbrow & Mariah Vann.
A memorial is scheduled at 1pm Saturday, September 9th at the Applegate Christian Fellowship. A private interment at Eagle Point National Cemetery will be held later.
