Joanne Rossi was born September 23, 1932 in Los Angeles County Calif. She had two children, Gloria Bloomberg and Mark Rossi, two step children Richard Rossi and Ginny Rossi. She had nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was married to Maurice Rossi who passed away in 1991. During her many years of marriage she and Mauri travelled extensively and ran a business together which still is in existence. They also spent many years building many homes on the property on first Brophy Road and then Worthington Road. They purchased and built many rental properties as well. Joanne loved nature. She loved gardening, her beloved dog Bandit, and her beautiful ranch. She also cherished her Church family. They were a great blessing to her. In the last year of her life she still spoke so much of skiing, gardening cooking and spending time at her church. She just loved the sunshine on her skin, music, singing and visiting with her sweet caregivers who really doted on her. As much as she loved life here she's in a better place because of her faith in Jesus. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, February 14, 2015 at St. Martins Episcopal Church, 95 Cleveland St., Shady Cove.
