LaVohn W. Waddell, 92 of Medford, OR passed away in peace on February 4, 2017. She was born May 1, 1924 at Wilson, N.C. She is survived by her daughter, Beth Handley and sons, Will and Rick Mumford along with two stepchildren, Pam Shaw and Brian Waddell; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and two sisters, Helen and Joyce. LaVohn was a very good businesswoman all her life. She taught journalism at Meritt-Davis Business College in Medford and also sold Real Estate and operated three Real Estate Companies in Virginia. She worked for Ashland Daily Tidings and the Medford Mail Tribune as a journalist. In her later years, she enjoyed gardening, bird watching and her dogs. She will be greatly missed by all.
