

Born to Ross Jesswein Sr. and Marilyn (Jesswein) Schrabeck on December 8,1964, he spent his life in the Rogue Valley. Ross was in the class of ’83 and attended Grants Pass High School then Oregon State University where he was an editor for The Daily Barometer. He played on the Mens Golf Team from 83-87 then graduated summa cum laude in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. His career path started as a Human Resource specialist for Harry & David, then Asante Health Network and spent the past decade with WorkSource Rogue Valley. Many may know and remember his local golf career and love for playing his favorite golf courses and a cherished lifetime of family golf outings. He won four Club Championships in his amateur career as a member at Grants Pass Golf Club. He was preceded in death by his mother and is survived by his father Ross Jesswein Sr with wife Roxanne Hunnicutt, sister Julie (Jesswein) Roberts and brother-in-law Matt Roberts. In addition his extended family include Laura & Travis Roundy, soul sister Mo Patton and all of his WorkSource Rogue Valley- Medford/Grants Pass community. He was an amazing pet parent to his beloved beagles Barkley & Bailey along with fearless feline Emma Lou. The outdoors are his sanctuary and the environment, bees & butterflies are his essence.

A Natural Burial is being held Sunday July 11th at 10am @ The Forest Conservation Burial Ground at Willow-Witt Ranch in the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument.
All Friends & Family are invited, we encourage casual or hiking attire to honor Ross’s passion for seeking beautiful vistas.
A gathering place will be announced after the service for those who would like to share their time and stories with family and friends.
