Allen "Chick" Holmes

Born on June 13, 1938 in Medina, NY, he was the son of the late Leon and Ruth Holmes. Chick lived in the Medina area all his life with his brother and sister-in-law, helping them raise their four children and truly enjoyed doing it. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by a niece, Sueann Horn.

He is survived by his brother Roger (Nancy) Holmes Sr., his nieces and nephews: Kenneth Holmes Sr. and Roger Holmes Jr., Lori (Dave) Cox, and Don Horn. Great-nieces and nephews: Aaron Horn Pam (Stan) Jenks, Kenny, Krissy, Paul, Billy, David, Samantha and Roger Holmes III, Bobbie Sue Ferby, Devin and Brayden Cox and a special nephew, Edward Lake. Also, many great-great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday, March 12, 2012 from 2 PM-3 PM at the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY with a memorial service at 3:00 PM the Rev. Daniel Thurber officiating.
