Earl D. Anderson Sr.

Born December 1, 1954, in Batavia, NY, he was the son of the late Edgar and Emma Jean Anderson.

Earl grew up in Medina and worked various jobs including U.S. Gypsum, Conrail, and lastly, Whiting Door. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. Earl was a dedicated patriot who cared for his country and armed forces and enjoyed collecting American Eagles.

He is survived by children, Earl (Tammy) Anderson Jr. and Brittney Anderson; granddaughter, Alissa Anderson, all of Medina; siblings Barbara (John) Dunn of North Carolina; Vicki Eckered of Medina; Jackie (Marc) Schaal of Pendale, PA; Krystal (Steven) Boring; Kristina (Tom) Anderson; Ladena Anderson, all of Medina; brother-in-law, Herb Beehler of Ohio; sister-in-law, Linda Mangee of Batavia and many nieces and nephews and long- time companion ,Maryellen Donavan of Medina.

Besides his parents, Earl is predeceased by two siblings, Edgar Anderson and Catherine Beehler and his first wife, Anita Brown.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St. Medina, NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 11:00 AM with the Rev. Daniel Thurber officiating. Burial will be in the Millville Cemetery.
