James “Jim” Robert Keenan, 49, of Meeker, Colorado passed away on July 6, 2023. Jim was born in Valentine, Nebraska. He went to Rifle High School and on to Lamar Community College. At the time of his death he was a licensed journeyman electrician with Pine Mountain Electric INC of Carbondale, Colorado. Jim is survived by his loving wife Denice, son Garrett Keenan, stepdaughter Bobbie Rose (Sam) Willits, mother Jimette Keenan, brother Dusty (Tammy) Kennan and niece Emma Keenan. He was preceded in death by his dad Dan Keenan, Grandfather Robert Halferty, Grandfather James Copp, grandparents Larry and Alpha Rae Keenan. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 12, 2023 at The Meeker Town Park, 426 Water Street. Food and beverages will be provided. Please bring a lawn chair and stories to share.
