Was born February 21, 1943 in Waco, Texas and passed away peacefully after a long illness on October 10, 2017 with her beloved husband of 57 years, Bobie M. Lewis, by her side along with her daughter, son in law, niece and grandchildren.
She is preceeded in death by her parents Herman Ray and Ina Lee Corley of Texas along with several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Bobie M. Lewis, a daughter who meant everything to her, Angela Lewis Manzanares (Donny), her grandsons who she loved more than life itself, John Michael and AJ Mariz and two step grandchildren Jalien and Miles Manzanares.
Visitation will be at Memphis Funeral Home Thursday, October 12th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with a service to follow Friday at 3:00pm.
Anita will be buried in the Veterans Cemetery in Grand Junction, CO where her daughter and grandsons live and where her husband will become a permanent resident. A special thank you to those who brought food during her illness, it was very important to her that everyone knew how much she appreciated it.
