

Anne Chambers Rawlinson passed away unexpectedly on August 22, 2015. Born in Memphis, Tennessee on July 16, 1990, Anne graduated with honors from both Harding Academy of Memphis and Rhodes College. At Rhodes she was an officer of the Kappa Omicron Chapter of the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority and was a member of several academic honor societies. She earned her bachelor’s degree with a major in history and a minor in German and was working toward a career in law. She is the cherished daughter of Dr. Thomas and Amy Rawlinson, and the beloved older sister of Amy Elise Watson Rawlinson. She is survived by her grandfather Col. (Ret.) William E. Rawlinson, Jr., her aunts Ann Watson Strange, Patrice Watson Gardner, and Julie Rawlinson Barefoot, as well as her uncle James C. Rawlinson, and many dear cousins. Anne was preceded in death by her grandparents Dr. & Mrs. Delmar Watson and Mrs. William E. Rawlinson, Jr. The family will receive friends and guests on Friday August 28 from 5:30 to 7:30 in the evening at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. The celebration of her life will be on Saturday beginning at ten o’clock in the morning at the White Station Church of Christ, 1106 Colonia Road, Memphis, TN 38117.
