Prayers for all who mourn today.  May we be comforted by our victorious savior and reminded that our time with each other is truly a gift.  Friendships are a gift.  Annette was a gift to her friends and coworkers.   I consider myself blessed to have shared time with her on earth at FedEx. Both my son and myself worked with Annette at one point.    This world can’t hold us.  Prayers over her family by ours.

I know we still have no word,  for you will truly be missed, we enjoyed creating memories  with you from the time you were at Fedex when you were a manager at the command center at the  top of the room and employees underneath you working with my wife until becoming a faithful member of our church and allowing me to be your pastor and have an opportunity to see you grow and increase spiritually. It was a joy to hear  you sing  and rejoice and learn the things of God made all of us happy. We will truly miss you,  may the spirit of the Comforter comfort your family at this time may he give your family strength and grace to go through this season knowing that we will all see you again,  as you sing now with the angels  and walk on streets of gold, we know to be absent from the body is  to be in the presence of the Lord. We pray for strength for your family as they grieve but also knowing their joy that you’re no longer in pain and they will see you again. Godspeed and God bless rest in peace.

A snapshot from the many lunches we enjoyed with our treasured friend, Annette. Now remembered with both gratitude and ache. 

To know  Annette was to feel seen. She listened with her whole heart, celebrated every joy, and stood close through every storm. Her warmth filled rooms, her humor softened heavy moments, and her loyalty was the kind you could lean on without hesitation.

Her life was a gift. Her friendship was a blessing. And though she is no longer here, the love she gave remains, steady and bright, reminding us that some connections don’t end; they simply change form.
