

Ashlea Alkire Morrow died suddenly in Fort Collins, Colorado on August 8, 2010 while on her way to a family vacation. She was 38 years old. Ashlea was the beloved wife of James Mann Morrow and loving mother to her sons Jimmy, age 10, and Ben, age 3. Ashlea was born in Newport News, Virginia, and grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee and Huntsville, Alabama. She was a graduate of Birmingham Southern College. While working full time, she earned a Masters in Business Administration from Christian Brothers University in Memphis. She was employed as a General Ledger Accountant for the Animal Health Division of Pfizer Inc. She is survived by her husband James Mann Morrow, her sons James Mann Morrow, Jr. (10) and Bennett Calhoun Morrow (3) of Collierville, Tennessee; her parents Marilyn and Bill Alkire of Huntsville, Alabama; her brother William Todd Alkire (Carolyn); her niece Meghan Elizabeth Alkire (10), and her nephew Brandon Davis Alkire (12) of Madison, Alabama; her aunts Brenda Finnerin (Dave) of Parkersburg, West Virginia and Betsy Harnden (Ted) of Beverly, West Virginia; and her Uncle John Alkire (Maura) of Los Angeles, California. Visitation with the family will be Monday, August 16, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Hope Presbyterian Church in Cordova, Tennessee, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Presbyterian Church, 8500 Walnut Grove Road, Cordova, Tennessee, 38018.
