Betty Jean Sherlock, 82, of Memphis, passed away September 18, 2013. The funeral mass will be said at 11 a.m. Monday, September 23, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, and interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Sherlock was preceded in death by her husband, John Sherlock. She is survived by 2 daughters, Rosemary Gorman (Pat) and Catherine Nelson (Thomas); 2 sons, John Sherlock (Sara Ann) and Pat Sherlock (Mary Ann); her brother, Jack "Buddy Man" Carroll (Betty Ann); 8 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
