Bob Blaine Sanquist, beloved husband, father and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 83 after a long and courageous struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. Bob is survived by his wife, Molly Sanquist; four children, Scott Sanquist, Stuart Sanquist, Shelly Crow, Sheryl O’Brien; his brother, Don Sanquist (Dolores), and sisters, Shirley Locken (Jim), Sharon Miceli, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Sanquist, in 2007. Bob retired from Bud Davis Cadillac in 2005. He served his country in the Air Force from 1950 through 1954 during the Korean War and received an honorable discharge. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Memphis Humane Society. A ‘Celebration of Life’ service will be held at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122.
