

Bobby Carter Pillow, 68 passed away peacefully at his home Thursday, September 23, 2010. He was the owner of Curlow Construction Company and loved hunting, fishing, and spending time at his cabin in Tunica. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Joy, daughter and best friend Lisa Williams, with whom he enjoyed many good times hunting and fishing, granddaughters Brandy and Brittney Williams, and great-granddaughter Aubrey Hataway, all who were his pride and joy, brothers Clifton, Bennie, Travis, Herman, and David Pillow, sisters Betty Vanwhy and Margaret Middleton, and in-laws C.D. and Elizabeth Johnson, whom he was very fond of. Mr. Pillow also leaves behind a host of friends , whom he enjoyed singing with. He was preceded in death by his son Mark Stephen Pillow, a sister Jo Knox, brothers Clyde and Lyle Pillow, and parents Ezra and Rosa Pillow, and son-in-law, Ben Williams. He enjoyed his life-long friendship with his high school football and basketball buddies as well as his friends from Union Planters Bank. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service begins at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 25 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Poplar Avenue.
